A native Austinite (and UT alum), Rohde's interior design career began in Los Angeles while still a design student at UCLA. There he worked alongside internationally renowned AD 100 designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard on projects for Hollywood's A-list. Though he got to rub shoulders with some famous folks, he sadly never got invited to Elton John's Oscar party, which he's only still slightly bitter about.
After stops in the Midwest and the Arctic Circle (Ok, Boston, but it’s almost the Arctic), the siren song of Barton Springs and Taco Trucks finally pulled him home to unleash his brand of maverick design on the good folks of Austin. His hobbies include driving his two kids to band practice, taking super serious profile pictures, and somehow getting lost on hiking trails completely surrounded by city.
